Abacus Valuers have a great deal of experience in this sector, dealing in everything from wall-to-wall stocktakes to picking auditing. We have reviewed the internal audit procedures of a number of high profile companies throughout the UK and Europe, and controlled and audited stocktakes in production line, manufacturing and assembly environments.
We have also undertaken complete reviews of all operational procedures at a number of warehouses run by third party companies, looking at everything from Goods In, Replenishment Locations, Picking Locations, Loading and Distribution.
Another project involved us being instructed to investigate questionable stock loss figures - sending in our team to review stock control systems and report back with recommendations. We have also completed a project comparing the accuracy and productivity implications of Voice Pick versus Manual Pick.
