Stocktaking and stock auditing is a very diverse occupation. It’s also a great way to help stay fit and mobile. You’ll be on your feet for most of the time and very active. Far healthier than sitting behind a desk all day.

Stocktaking frequently involves being in a different place each day, working for different clients counting and auditing a broad variety of different types of stock. So if you like meeting people and enjoy the variety of working in different places, stocktaking could be the job for you.

Regional Managers

Abacus Valuers has an opportunity for a motivated Regional Manager to join our Stocktaking Business.

We are looking in the following areas:

Bridgwater
Taunton
Tiverton

This is a permanent position and comes with a company car if required and a mobile phone allowance.

If you have a passion for service and can demonstrate strong leadership skills, this may be the career for you.

We are looking for an individual (based along the M5 between Tiverton - Bridgwater) with a proven track record/ stocktaking experience who has first class people management and communication skills and can thrive in a target driven working environment.

As our Regional Manager you will manage teams of people carrying out stocktakes for our clients in South Wales, The West and South West of England.

As our Regional Manager you will:

  • Lead teams
  • Manage/develop teams of people to execute stocktakes
  • Manage and ensure that all H&S policies and processes are being adhered to
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of your region
  • Assist in all relevant tasks as delegated, including planning, logistics

Abacus Valuers Offer

  • Competitive Pay Structure and a company car.
  • Overnight allowances
  • 28 Days Holiday per year

Due to the nature of the job role you will be asked to stay away from home from time to time.

Overnight expenses are covered.

The working day will vary and on average be around 6 hours on-site plus travelling.

We trade 7 days a week so some weekend work will be required.

Immediate start can be offered to the right candidate.

In the first instance, the work is part time but there are good prospects for people to progress to more senior, full time roles within the company. Experience is not necessary as comprehensive training will be given. However, we require you to be conscientious, motivated, numerate, of smart appearance, and ready to learn.
